The HDMI connected external monitor measures 17.5" by 10". By placing phone on a small easel in horizontal position allows full utilization of screen. Thus text and images on my 'phone screen' are larger than same on notebook screen. I can read text without glasses.

External keyboard measures 9.5" by 3.5". A person with large hands might have a problem. I have small hands.

As more applications move to browser based, more applications will work with phone. Currently applications that utilize Adobe Flash will not work with Android.

Even so I now use phone as a computer more than I use notebook.
